This consultation is a roughly one-hour meeting with you in your home to discuss ideas for updating your room/s. We’ll bring colour and product samples for you to touch and feel, and take detailed notes to ensure we’re on the right page with your needs and wants, before going forward with a design plan.
Room Service Interiors can help you select the right colours and use the correct proportions of colour for your room, accounting for natural lighting, substrate materials, floor area, and how the space is used.
Space planning and styling
Lovely old cottages and contemporary apartments alike, Sydney’s small (but perfectly formed!) spaces can certainly present a design challenge. Room Service Interiors is experienced with maximising space potential without sacrificing character or style, using your existing items or implementing an exciting new furniture and finishes fit-out from scratch.

Partial and full fit-out design
From tracking down a single perfect lamp, to planning and decorating an entire home from floor to ceiling and everything in between – Room Service Interiors can do it all. And as a member of the design trade, we have access to exclusive industry-only suppliers; plus, we can obtain pricing for clients that is typically well below retail.
Room Service Interiors offers a personal shopping service to accompany clients on visits to showrooms, art galleries, antiques dealers and fairs. Fees are $500 for a 3-hour half-day or $990 for a 7-hour day including lunch.

Please note, Project Management services are available for Room Service Interiors design projects only.
Our in-home design service fees start at $1100 (including GST) and are calculated on the size, scope of work involved and the needs of each individual project.
If you simply require us to source furniture or other decorative items for you (that you will incorporate yourself within your existing scheme), we charge on a cost-plus basis. In other words, there are no charges for our service as such, we simply add a percentage (typically 20%) to the cost of each item to cover our work. Considering that when Room Service orders your products for you, we snap up sensational designer discounts that would not be available to you otherwise, it’s a win-win for you and us.
